Community Convention

In order to strengthen the management of Mega community, Mega users must comply with the relevant laws and regulations of their country as well as Mega's management regulations. If they violate the regulations, measures including but not limited to deletion of illegal content, login restriction, account closure or device closure will be taken.

一、Serious violations

1. Strictly prohibit any act that violates relevant laws and regulations or endangers local public security and law, including but not limited to:

• Endangering state security or harming national interests；

• incitement to hostility, hatred or discrimination between national or ethnic groups；

• Those who insult religious policies, disturb social order, participate in illegal assemblies or violate moral customs；

• To damage or insult the state policy on religion, incite religious confrontation, and propagate cults and feudal superstition；

• Spreading violence, terror or instigating crimes；

• Disclosing state secrets, subverting state power, undermining national unity, harming the honor and interests of the state, distorting, slandering or denying the deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs, or insulting or slandering their names, images, reputation and honor by other means; promoting terrorism or extremism, or inciting terrorist or extremist activities；

• Spreading incitement of ethnic hatred and discrimination, undermining national unity, undermining the state religious policy, propagating cults and feudal superstition, spreading rumors prohibited by laws and administrative regulations, and disturbing economic and social order；

2. Spreading terror and extremism in a rigorous manner, and promoting war rhetoric.

3. Gambling is strictly prohibited.

4. Drug involvement is strictly prohibited.

5. The dissemination of life-threatening content is strictly prohibited.

6. The dissemination of false information and/or content intended to harm others, or the dissemination of information about scandals or rumors is strictly prohibited.

7. All pornographic and vulgar content is prohibited. Information prohibited from being published or disseminated includes but is not limited to:

• Description of sexual nudity or sexually suggestive poses, where the subject is nude, blurred or dressed inappropriately and/or clothing inappropriate for public places:

• A description of sexual behavior, an animation or illustration, or a suggestive pose or description of a body part.

• Descriptive or functional aids, sex guides, illegal sexual topics and fetish content.

• Obscene or indecent content, including but not limited to content that may contain obscenity, libel, explicit words, adult/sex keywords.

• Content that describes, depicts or encourages sexual behavior.

8. Strictly prohibit infringement content and infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of any third party (including invasion of privacy).

9. Prohibit the display or promotion of animal cruelty, exploitation, trade, and other acts, as well as animal-related bloody or pornographic content, including but not limited to:

• Any content that shows improper behavior such as physical or psychological harm to animals;

• Any content involving animal sexual exposure or sexual activity;

• Exploitative content that uses animals for entertainment or other purposes;

• Content involving illegal trade in or trafficking in animals and their parts;

• Intentionally showing the injured, dismembered or dead animals to cause shock or discomfort to the audience;

10. Illegal and immoral acts are strictly prohibited from being publicized.

11. It is strictly prohibited to promote competitors and poach people.

12. It is prohibited to use the Platform for any form of impersonation, fraud, illegal transaction or other misleading behavior, including but not limited to:

• Impersonating an official or its affiliated parties, such as impersonating a Mega employee, official account, agent or partner, and sending false information or links;

• Do not hold activities, use or alter official logos, names, portraits, materials or other materials without authorization;

• Impersonating others, such as other anchors, companies, institutions, public figures, etc., to obtain trust, traffic, cooperation opportunities or other benefits through false information;

• Content involving illegal trade, sale or trafficking in animals and their parts;

• Create or use misleading identity information, such as account nickname, profile picture, personal profile, authentication logo, promotional language, etc., which causes users to misunderstand their identity, qualification or cooperative relationship;

• Involving fraud or deceptive transactions, such as illegal trading in diamonds, gold beans, or other fraudulent or fraudulent acts;

• Involved in publishing false business or recruitment information, such as forging job opportunities, cooperation invitations, investment projects, etc.;

• Involving the dissemination of malicious content, such as inducing users to click malicious links, download malware or disclose sensitive information (such as passwords, bank information);

• Any content or operation that aims to mislead users or platforms, obtain improper benefits or commit illegal acts;

13. It is strictly prohibited to appear any content that damages the interests of the official platform, such as: promotion of competing products, fraudulent advertisements, personal privacy information, etc.;

14. It is strictly prohibited to infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, including but not limited to: disclosing private information, payment QR code, phone number, ID card, bank card, passport, etc.; infringing and stealing, impersonating other anchors; or appearing in other competitive videos, videos, text introductions, etc.

15. Platform abuse and offline crime:

    Users are prohibited from abusing the platform or its features to engage in any illegal, harmful, or exploitative activities. This prohibition remains effective even when serious violations occur outside the platform. If reliable or conclusive evidence is provided demonstrating that a user has engaged in such conduct and clearly utilized Mega for purposes including establishing connections, gaining trust, or conducting recruitment within the platform, Mega reserves the right to take decisive actions including permanent account suspension and reporting to law enforcement authorities. Offline serious criminal acts include, but are not limited to:

• Sexual assault, sexual exploitation, trafficking in persons or crimes involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM);

• Mortal acts of violence, terrorist acts or a well-founded threat of violence against individuals or groups;

• Causing serious physical injury, kidnapping or illegal detention;

• Large-scale and organized cybercrime activities, such as fraud, hacking, identity theft or ransomware activities;

• Any act that constitutes a serious crime under applicable law and is clearly involved in or related to the Mega platform;

16. Slander, disparage or otherwise harass others.

17. Discrimination or harm to individuals or groups based on online or offline social behavior or known or predicted personal or personality characteristics.

18. Use of in-app top-up currency in an unauthorized manner, including the exchange or conversion of cash, legal tender or other legal tender.

19. Content that is harmful or violates minors is prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Involving the physical and mental development of minors, such as showing early love, marriage and childbearing of minors;

• Involving the disclosure of minors 'privacy, such as displaying minors' sexual organs, disclosing personal privacy, etc.;

• Involving violence against minors, such as school violence, cyber bullying, social crimes, etc.;

• Involving the bad behavior of minors, such as drinking, smoking, suicide and so on;

• Involving the sexual enticement of minors, such as instigating minors to take naked videos and pictures, carrying out "remote" indecent acts and other illegal acts;

• Involving the avoidance of supervision and protection of minors, such as inducing minors to recharge, reward, and avoid methods and strategies for restrictions on teenagers;

• Other contents related to the safety and health of minors;

  Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that in-app top-up funds are not redeemable for cash, legal tender, or any currency legally recognized in any country or region. You are strictly prohibited from purchasing, retrieving, or otherwise trading in-app top-up funds with other users on the Mega platform, or assisting others in converting such funds into legal tender. Any transaction conducted to evade or circumvent these prohibitions, or any action that results in or attempts to violate such prohibitions, shall constitute a serious breach of these guidelines.

  Note: We strictly prohibit the display or promotion of content that exploits or abuses minors. Violations will be immediately removed and accounts penalized, including any content involving child sexual abuse. To report suspected child exploitation content on Mega, please email to the designated address (rossimaurizio1111@gmail.com). If you discover such content elsewhere online, contact your local authorities directly.

  二、Common violations

  1. Prohibited behaviors in video calls

  Smoking and drinking (including drunkenness, sleepiness, etc.) are prohibited, and video calls are prohibited during driving.

  2. Prohibited speech and content

  Do not make disparaging, abusive, harassing, teasing, or other comments that violate local laws or Mega's management rules.

  3. Vulgar content is strictly prohibited

  Obscene performances, movements or sounds related to pornography are prohibited, pornographic music is prohibited, vulgar exposure is prohibited, including but not limited to: wearing underwear, large areas of the chest or buttocks exposed.

  Note: Situations that are appropriate will not be treated, such as swimming in a swimsuit, men working out or boxing without shirts.

  4. Prohibit unauthorized content

  Live performances or film and television programs are reproduced.

  5. No advertising is allowed

  Commercial advertising reviews with a promotional nature.

  三、Punishment measures

  Mega will deal with the violation based on objective factors such as the degree of violation, the time of violation and the subject of violation, including but not limited to:

• Limit device access

• Limit account login

• Restrict the permission to modify the data

• Delete the illegal content

• Ban accounts

• Withdraw or freeze the balance of the account wallet

• Other measures that Mega may deem necessary

  Note: As Our APP operates globally, we are committed to complying with a wide range of legal and regulatory requirements regarding prohibited or sensitive content in each jurisdiction. For this reason, even if certain content is not explicitly listed as prohibited in the Community Covenant, we reserve the right to block or remove any content at our discretion.

  The determination of whether specific content falls under the aforementioned self-determination category is entirely at Mega's discretion. To maintain community order, Mega may impose restrictions on certain content or accounts. While we will provide relevant explanations to the best of our ability in compliance with regulations and platform policies, specific reasons may not be disclosed in some cases. We appreciate your understanding.

  四、A channel for complaints

  If users have any objection to the official penalty result of Mega, they can appeal through customer service channels or feedback channels in the client.
